Software Engineer for Credit Union - Great Learning Opportunity for Recent Grad

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our small development team.  Will primarily provide support, maintenance, and enhancements to existing customized and third party applications.  May also be involved in some new development projects.

 

Will work with internal users of our products and services, such as in the Accounting and Operations areas, to provide support, development, and maintenance as needed on our products and services.  May be involved in designing the initial solution and will often be involved in enhancing applications or providing automated solutions.  May also be involved in testing, and creating quality software documentation.

 

Requires Bachelor’s degree and 1 - 5 years of similar experience or equivalent and experience with at least one Microsoft based PC development language (such as VB.net or C#), Windows, MSSQL, and the fundamentals of networks and PC hardware.  Also requires a thorough understanding of security protocols and development methodologies including a good understanding of the development lifecycle.  Must be able to work independently in troubleshooting problems and researching capabilities of current or proposed solutions, have excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail.
