Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Qualifications BA/BS. At least 5 years relevant experience with a Fortune 500 organization. In depth knowledge of commodities, services and their supply markets. In-depth knowledge of suppliers markets and supply base management. Contract Law and Legal understanding. Demonstrates clear understanding of supplier management and has experience in building relationships with strategic suppliers and management of multi-dimensional business relationships. Has broader understanding of contract management techniques through effective management of contractual performance. Demonstrates high level of understanding and application of financial and management accounting principles within purchasing. Project management experience. Demonstrates highly developed negotiation techniques and applies these in complex negotiations within the Purchasing cycle. Responsibilities This Sourcing Group Manager role will focus on the Resources category which includes temporary and permanent recruitment across a variety of sectors including clerical, specialist, IT and Executive. You'll work in conjunction with your colleagues in the Group Purchasing team in the UK to ensure that we optimize value from our suppliers globally. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies in conjunction with business lines within Citizens Financial Group and across the RBS group's North American brands. You'll combine your knowledge of supplier management tools and techniques with well developed influencing skills to deliver greater value to the Group. Your ability to influence and lead business change will be demonstrated by a proven track record in the successful implementation of complex supply chain / strategic sourcing deals. Strong commercial acumen is essential whilst specific knowledge of relevant supply markets and eSourcing would be an advantage.
