We currently have an excellent opportunity in San Francisco, CA for a highly motivated professional to collect and work out situations and activities associated with equipment financing and leasing.

In this key role, you will:Contact delinquent commercial finance customers who are from 90-180 days past due to ascertain cause of delinquency Contact senior executives and attorneys to negotiate work-out programs Process charged-off financing including litigation, asset discovery, and fraud investigation Analyze credit submittals regarding credit and/or financial strengths to ascertain if borrowers qualify for financing restructures Conduct forensic analysis of severely delinquent and charged off accounts to identify possible problems trends and issues Contact customers and resolve delinquencies, coordinate the repossession, and re-market collateral to maximize recoveries Engage in ongoing discourse with Documentation and Sales departments with regard to legal or regulatory changes Negotiate customer requested documentation issues or requests Prepare files to submit to collection agencies and attorneys for collection, litigation, and bankruptcy issues Interview attorneys in different geographical areas for possible assignment of suits or judgments

The position requires:An HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of collections experience specializing in work-out of commercial accounts A solid understanding of local, state and federal requirements related to contacting customers and collection of delinquent accounts Thorough knowledge of small business lending policies, procedures, and practices A strong understanding of collection practices/techniques, Dun & Bradstreet, and other credit reports PC proficiency with MS Office Excellent analytical, customer service, and written/verbal communication skills.,/ul>
