The job will entail post trade processing activities for OTC Derivatives Settlements, such as payment affirmations, client service, reconciliation support, investigations and timely handling of incoming/outgoing payments, data maintenance etc. Candidates are expected to be self motivated individuals, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to learn quickly, ability to work well in cross functional teams, to meet tight deadlines and proficient to perform work using multiple systems and database tools, including excel. Knowledge or background in finance and institutional financial services back office operations will be beneficial. Principal Responsibilities may include: Handle settlements of trades with counterparties including payment calculation, confirming settlements with customer, and ensuring timely receipt / outgoing settlements. Identify problems and issues related to trade settlements that result in cash breaks and identify root cause of issue. Proactively seek corrective action to ensure all future cash flows settle properly.  Ensure breaks are reviewed daily; identify and resolve within a reasonable timeframe. Ensure that generic causal of daily breaks are provided to supervisor for tracking and escalation to trading/trade capture management within team guidelines. Responsibilities include the handling of internal and external customer inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.  This includes exposure to the front and middle offices, control and audit functions as well as various Operations departments and teams. Maintain static data as well as market data.
