Sr. Mortgage Loan Processor

Responsibilities:

ØProcesses loan files, verifying accuracy of documents received including but not limit to income, debts calculations.  Reviews loan files to ensure all documents are received and correct.

Ø Follow up on receipt of all pre and post closing documents to ensure all items are resolved.  Ensures all document issues are resolved. Determines appropriate action to achieve resolution.

Ø Calls borrower, real estate broker, and Title Company to request specified documents, such as receipt for payment of outstanding tax bill.  Contacts outside vendors and requests necessary documents.  Determines appropriate course of contact-phone, fax, e-mail, written request, etc.

Ø Calls borrower, broker and other specified individuals to arrange time and date for closing.

Ø Handles customer inquiries, providing information regarding missing documents and loan status.

The ideal candidate possesses:Minimum of five (5) years of experience in loan processing or related fieldEffective oral and written communication skillsStrong customer service skillsAbility to interact with all levels of staff – administrative through senior managementMust have experience with Calyx/Point 6.0 or higher  Must know how to package the loan for submission to lender(s)Personal computer skills with working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs
