Sr. Project Manager – Core Banking Renewal Data Migration

 

DUTIES: Manage the project delivery process, coordinating project work across multiple work teams.Develops, updates, and implements contingencies for multiple teams to meet changing project needs.Drives projects through the Software Development Life Cycle process gates; tracking progress, identifying, escalating and resolving issues.Manages the project scope; analyzes impacts, clarifies dependences, constraints, assumptions in order to evaluate and administer change requests.Manages the project budget; validates estimates, requests for project funding, ensure project is within budget.Regularly reports project progress to management.Manages conflict and ensures that team morale is maintained.Ensure that all project products are delivered with a high degree of quality.Manages risk by developing and implementing mitigation strategies.Maintains all project artifacts ensuring audit compliance.Coordinates data migration activities related to the Core Banking Renewal Program.Manage PeopleSoft General Ledger Data Migration

SKILLS REQUIRED:8-10 years in IT Project Management with proven success for large, complex and multidimensional projects.Strong administration and organization skills; good presentation skills.Expertise in working within a matrixed project team, leveraging resources across the organization to complete project deliverables.PC skills, proficient in MS Office Suite; strong expertise with MS Project.Highly effective oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment. Ability to work on multiple tasks, accurately and with attention to detail in a high volume environment.Strong technology background with extensive knowledge of banking systems.Strong General Ledger knowledgeExtensive experience with project management methods and frameworks including; change control, status tracking & reporting, quality & risk management, financial control.Knowledge with the business of banking with an emphasis on Commercial and Private Banking.Ability to effectively manage a large scale banking system migration.Ability to effectively manage third party vendors.

 

LEVELOF EDUCATION NEED: Bachelors in Computer Science, Business or equivalent.  PMI Certification Preferred.
