Washington Mutual is expanding its efforts to market to Small Businesses with up to $10 million in revenue across its network of over 2,100 locations from coast to coast. We are currently looking for a senior sales administrator. This person will be responsible for the following: Support implementation of new sales programs, tools and/or marketing initiatives for all small business financial services by acting as day to day business owner for medium to large sized business unit or corporate projects related to sales. Activities may include requirements development, business planning, budget management, presentations to management, updates on project development, negotiation on project deliverables, timelines and resources. Fulfill division and corporate goals/initiatives through implementation, development, and support of a major product line(s) and marketing initiatives as it relates to the Small Business Financial Services Network. Actively partner with marketing and product teams to identify, design, approve and deliver required communication, training and sales strategies for product/ marketing roll out. Support analysis and implementation of consistent sales process and tools across Small Business Financial Services Network through needs identification, research, planning, requirements definition and deliverables management. Manage tactical planning sessions with vendors and service providers that support sales programs. Ensure that business needs are met in vendor planning for requirements, resources, performance, and timeline. Manage day to day implementation of vendor deliverables. Represent voice of the Small Business Financial Services Network through all initiatives by conducting regular field meetings, surveying field for input on initiatives, and visiting markets for specific field research activities. Perform related work as required. Small business or related sales experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point applications. Understanding and application of project management practices and methodologies. Familiarity with and ability to apply Continuous Improvement (OpEx, 6 Sigma, Lean ) strategies.All employees are accountable for compliance with all laws and regulations when performing their job duties. Employees must participate in required training on pertinent compliance laws and regulations as required by Washington Mutual 3-4 years prior Small Business banking experience required Cross functional team management required Strong communication skills with ability to deal effectively with individuals across many levels of the organization required Proficiency with software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook required Project management experience required Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or related field is preferred Demonstrated Ability To: Identify, analyze and create solutions for identified issues Take complex concepts and transform them into understandable topics Self starter Participate in efforts as a team player Collaborate with cross functional teams Mange conflict and drive resolution Think outside the box Manage change Learn quickly Organize and prioritize Washington Mutual is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
