Position DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES·         Perform audits to ensure that audit objectives are met, which includes:   ·         Providing assistance with planning phase on assigned audit segments and (or) audits. ·         Evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls on assigned audits.  ·         Recommending and executing audit procedures, including review of reports, transactions, records, and process documentation for accuracy, completeness and effectiveness.·         Accurately preparing work papers which summarize audit procedures performed.·         Assisting and developing recommendations for corrective action/improvement.  ·         Communicate or take part in communication of audit results through written reports and oral presentations to management.·         Assist with the risk assessment process used for annual planning.·         Provide assistance to external auditors as requested.·         Perform other duties as required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS ·         Bachelors Degree in Accounting and/or comparable experience in the field. ·         Minimum of 2-3 years auditing, preferably with national or regional accounting firm or with an internal audit department.  ·         Loan servicing industry experience or related financial services a plus.·         Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred not required.·         Regulation AB or USAP audit experience a plus We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation or any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.  Company: Marix Servicing Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027 Salary/Wage: Market Competitive Compensation and Benefits Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Industry: Banking;Real Estate/Property Management;Financial Services Reference Code: 12 finance
