Strategic Sales Analyst
Reports To: SVP, Sales & Marketing – Retail Pharmacy
Our client is a rapidly growing $500 million combination primary manufacturer, national distributor and drug wholesaler of generic drugs & consumer products. Our client supplies Rx brands, generics and consumer products to retail, medical professionals and managed care providers as their primary and/or secondary supplier and has plans to double in sales within the next few years.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Analysis of activities and trends, cost and variance analysis, identification and implementation of strategies to achieve strategic goals, revenue forecasts, projections and the preparation of reports related to financial, production, quality, operational efficiency, and costsAssists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probabilityPerforms statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various financial systemsApplies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agenciesCollects budget, midyear forecast and other financial information, interprets, summarizes to provide information about profit and lossDevelops financial controls, procedures, systems and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure complianceFamiliar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and proceduresSpecial Projects evaluation and managementAcquisitions evaluation and management
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Master’s degree in finance or accounting required.Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.Strong ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence.
