The PRPC Technical Support Specialist will provide support for all Production, UAT, Testing, and Development regions in support of onshore and offshore development and testing teams, and the global Production user base.  This includes environmental support, development support, and design consultation. OPPORTUNITY:Citi’s PRPC application is used by customer service and operations staff to enter, research, track, and resolve customer inquiries and investigations.  PRPC supports both Cash and Securities businesses.  PRPC is a mission-critical 24x7 system, currently being rolled out to a global user base.Pegasystem’s PRPC product is highly regarded in the BPM/BRE market, and the PRPC Technical Support Specialist will gain valuable support and administration experience relating to PRPC in a large, dynamic banking environment.  Primary Responsibilities: - 24x7 Production Support, covering both BAU and Emergency support activities.- Application Support for all Production, UAT, Testing, and Development regions.- Development support and design consultation for development activities.- As a member of the Production Support Team, provide application maintenance, administration, etc. as necessary to provide a quality application across all regions.- Interact with the Development Team to deliver end-user support, defect resolution, etc.  Technical Competencies: - Operational experience in support of a large J2EE application.- Unix System Administration experience.- WebSphere and Oracle support experience a strong plus.- Pegasystems PRPC Certification a strong plus.  PRPC v5.1 sp2 or later preferred.- Domain knowledge of banking is preferable.- SQL, HTML, and JavaScript experience a plus.- Performance monitoring and tuning experience a plus. Interpersonal & Leadership Competencies:- Communication skills must be strong.- Must be organized.- Must be proactive in data gathering and issue resolution.- Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.- Time-management skills and the ability to simultaneously work on multiple deliverables.- Strong negotiation and influence skills.- Ability to manage risk appropriately. Other Experience: and Education :- 3-5 years PRPC application support experience or J2EE support experience.- Effectively lead complex, dynamic efforts of varying scale.- Domain knowledge of a global banking/financial environment would be valuable.- A Bachelor of Science or Arts in an engineering or computer science field preferred.
