Overview The Technical Team Lead (TTL) will be responsible for managing the technical team. The Technical Team Lead will closely work with the Business Analyst during functional design and will be responsible for the technical design, implementation, deployment and support of the final product. Take ownership of the architecture and manage all physical environments (development, QA, Pre-Prod, Prod, Demo, etc). Specific application is largely composed of web services and functions as a faceless real-time VLDB data hub for many enterprise applications (including heavy batch processing and ETL loads). Therefore, experience with OLTP VLDB and SOA architecture is critical. Also critical is ability to manage production support tickets and very strong knowledge of data; ability to dive deep into data to understand and manage cardinality, constraints, and overall data quality. Responsibilities „« Manage the technical team „« Work closely with the Business System Analysts during requirements gathering and functional design „« Work with the technical team to deliver the technical design for the project (module, release, enhancement, product, etc) and detailed technical specifications. „« Manage the developers to develop as per technical specification. „« Deploy the code to QA and support the QA environment along with the Business System Analyst „« Co-ordinate the deployment to production and deploy the code to production. „« Manage the production support „« Interface with other application groups and IT infrastructure teams Soft Skills „« Excellent communications skills ¡V both written and oral „« Self-motivated, high energy and a team player, who would take complete ownership of the project or module assigned „« Ability to face of with senior executives „« Ability to analyze and solve problems both proactively though business requirements negotiations and reactively by analyzing resulting data „« Life cycle experience in large complex systems „« Must be able to deliver within short time frames Specific Technical Skills „« 12+ yrs of IT experience „« Very strong database concepts and in-depth knowledge of relational data structures / models / relationships. „« Proficiency in Oracle ¡V (10g preferred) „« Proficiency in writing SQL. „« Must have experience with ETL tools and products (Informatica preferred) „« Must have worked on medium to large size custom application development projects and has exposure to all phases of the SDLC „« Must have experience with large data centric applications, an OLTP VLDB environment. „« Experience with large integration projects a plus „« Working knowledge of WebServices or SOA a plus. „« Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, in particular, Word, Excel and Visio.
