TRAINING PROJECT MANAGER II
Description Responsible for consulting with the business, planning, and overseeing the development and delivery of training support for strategic projects and initiatives impacting a line of business or multiple/major business segment(s) within that line of business. Meet with all levels of management and subject matter experts within business as needed. Apply instructional design concepts to plan and implement programs that increase the ability of the workforce to establish lifetime customer relationships and achieve sustainable competitive advantage for PNC Bank. Support business needs and strategies of all segments through performance improvement and training interventions.The project management work involves many different departments and professional disciplines within the bank and external vendors. The scope of some projects is bankwide and most projects are done with cross-functional team involvement. Manage, plan, organize, and oversee implementation of projects/initiatives that support business strategies and objectives.Support the business in the process of strategic workforce development planning. Oversee the measurement of training programs which integrate client's products, service, systems and revenue/sales management. Work with identified vendors/external consultants to document project requirements and manage their interface with project team and business contacts.Meet with key business management to identify the business critical training needs that support the strategic business goals and prioritize training activities in alignment with business activities; support Strategic Workforce Development Planning (SWDP), demand management, and communication regarding SWDP progress/results. Consult with clients to review the performance implications of business goals, identify the root cause of the training requests, and assess the extent to which an intervention can address the root cause of performance gaps. Implement evaluation impact process which measures and tracks interventions effectiveness on participants’ skills, and establish the cost benefit of performance improvement and training initiatives. Assist client in determining an appropriate measurement of services performed.Support additional department and PNC Bank initiatives as assigned including development of less experienced staff. Support day-to-day line of business Strategic Workforce Development Plans. Keep training-related documentation and databases current. Requirements Masters degree in Education, Organizational Development, Management, or Training, or the equivalent in related work experience strongly preferred. Five - seven years progressively responsible experience n the training field; 3 years of successful training and project management.Additional project-management certification preferred. Previous experience that may include any of the following: instructional design, leading cross-functional teams/strategic projects, using business models, internal consulting, and organizational development/change management.Demonstrated effective communication and listening; technical & business knowledge, performance improvement consulting, project management; problem solving; coaching; instructional design, coaching & feedback, decision quality, building effective teams, and partnering and relationship building. Organizational savvy, measurement, comfort with upper management, planning and executing. Ability to travel is a requirement of the job.
