Define functional specifications and determine application tools and program architecture.Utilize tools to develop complex database program and solutions. Serve as database expert and resource to department and users. Assist in the mentoring, coaching and training of less experienced analysts. May serve as project leader on technology development project. Serve as back-up to Technology Analyst Support Manager.Employee SpecificationsExpertise with Microsoft Office products (Excel VBA and MS Access, VB) is required, Eagerness to learn new programming languages. The position also requires the ability to think independently, understanding of programming principles, good communication skill, documenting support tasks well and strong problem solving skills to identify essential programming solutions. Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.4-6 years in database development. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Technology knowledge including client server and LAN architecture and World Wide Web. Knowledge of financial services and mutual fund accounting preferred.Click here to apply
