Technical Support Data Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Technology professional responsible for administration, troubleshooting, documentation, installation, testing, data analysis and technical support - hardware and software.  Reports to Technology Manager

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 End User Technical Support - hardware, software, administration. Project Management over Installation/Conversion of various software applications and telecommunication systems Manage Information Security Program Manage DR/BCP solutions, including backup, failover and testing. Maintenance of intranet Administer Related IT Department policies and procedures. Responsible for Period-End processing, post routines, job scheduler and reconciliations

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 

Competency Statement(s)Strong communication skills - Strong analytical skills required

 

EducationAssociates Degree (two year college or technical school)

 

ExperienceThree to five years experience, preferably in the Financial Institution industry

 

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

Computer SkillsExperience in SQL and other DB Technologies Experience in IBM AIX/Unix hardware/software platform Experience with Symitar Episys core processing system and other JHA products preferred Experience in Microsoft products - MCSE preferred Report writing using tools like Crystal Reports and Monach, a plus Programming experience in Perl Scripting, VB, Java, .Net, a plus
