Our branch in North Kansas City, MO (64116) has an opening for a full time Teller. 

Teller - Overview

Handle all phases of teller operations, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, etc. Willing to gain knowledge of bank products, operations and compliance. Exercise independent judgment in most instances requiring minimum supervision.

KEY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process all types of paying and receiving transactions
• Cash customer and non-customer checks
• Perform safe deposit admissions
• Handle bulk coin and currency deposits
• Issue cashiers checks, money orders and travelers checks
• Process travelers check settlement
• Process credit card cash advance requests
• Selling and redemption of savings bonds
• Balance ATM
• Balance cash drawer and transactions daily
• Handle currency orders and shipments and complete
currency transaction forms
• Process check reorders
• Assist with the Remote Capture process
• Adhere to policy and procedures to minimize losses
• Miscellaneous other teller/cash responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required of Successful Candidates

• One year previous Teller and/or cash handling
experience required
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Must possess basic math skills
• Present a professional image
• Knowledge of all deposit products is required
• Knowledge of safe deposit admissions
• Communicate and cooperate with others (internal and
external) to produce needed outcomes and meet goals
• Skillful at establishing priorities and channeling
effort productively
• Demonstrate flexibility, versatility, commitment and
good judgment
• Ability to be well organized in an environment of
diverse responsibilities
• Operate a personal computer and appropriate software
packages
