As a leader of the teller team, you will use your experience and knowledge of banking procedures to direct the transaction activities of tellers. You will ensure timely and efficient delivery of their services in accordance with established security safeguards, banking policies and guidelines. You will utilize your time management skills in the scheduling of tellers to ensure appropriate staffing levels and resources to customers. The high degree of professionalism you possess and your excellent interpersonal skills will lead you to gain the confidence of customers and cultivate customer relationships. You will also handle complex procedural and processing issues working with service partners by making effective decisions and positive relationships. Your excellent leadership skills will be used to coach, develop and improve the skills of the teller staff. The knowledge you will continue to gain about the industry and of PNC’s products puts you in a unique position to offer solutions to the customer’s changing needs and increase your effectiveness as a leader in the branch network. REQUIREMENTSTypically three or more years of teller experience or equivalent retail, cash handling and supervisory experience is required for this position. Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills are necessary. In order to succeed in this position, you will possess exceptional banking procedural knowledge as well as a knowledge of bank products and referral processes. The ability to supervise a group of ten or more employees is necessary. In addition, you will need to have an aptitude for numbers, mathematics and PC/keyboard familiarity. The ability to lift heavy coin as well as stand for a long period of time is needed. The flexibility to travel may be required. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
