Test Analyst Salt Lake City, UT JOB DESCRIPTIONTest Analyst Responsible for testing banking applications using industry accepted testing methodologies and procedures Responsible for becoming an expert in applications under test, in the technologies used, and in the defined QA process Responsible for the planning, design, development and execution of appropriate test cases for all areas of responsibility Responsible for documenting activities and results to the satisfaction of audit requirements Will participate on a cross-functional team in the role of Test Analyst May assist in training other Test AnalystsExperience and Skills: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar field Prefer 5+ years testing experience Web testing experience SQL Server experience ? ability to write simple scripts to check test data, ability to edit DTS packages Excellent problem solving skills Knowledge of bug tracking procedures and industry testing methodologies Demonstrated ability to take ownership of completing projects and tasks Demonstrated ability to learn new environments and applications quickly Demonstrated creativity and problem solving skills Good verbal and written skills Good communication skills Self starterPreferred Skills: Banking or financial experience Experience with relational database management systemsAdditional Information: Typically requires a Bachelor's and some directly related experience.
