Including yours. * As ranked for 2006 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Feb. 2, 2007)© 2007.  Title Examiner  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Reviewing documents abstracted from name and property searches, determining the effect of each on title and writing a title reports·  Examining abstractor’s documentation for effect and completeness·  Verifying vesting and encumbrances to title·  Preparing worksheets for typing·  Reviewing typed reports and addendums for accuracy and forwarding to Closing Support and Branch·  Data entry and order tracking: Log each order at every step of its process in the proper field within "AIM", "BOSS" and our tracking system ("TAD") ·  Reviewing reports established from the tracking system (on a daily basis) to monitor production and turnaround-time standards·  Making decisions regarding the content of requested title-products   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Completion of college coursework (or equivalent experience) in a related field·  3+ years of related experience·  PC proficiency·  Familiarity with all procedures performed in commitment production—including abstracts, examinations, document retrieval, surveys, plat maps, tax data, etc. ·  Working knowledge of real estate, liens, encumbrances and circumstances that affect title to real property·  Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner  Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
