Top European Investment Bank Seeks Derivatives Trader for Fund of Hedge Fund Derivatives Business

The desk is one of the largest providers of structured products to the fund of funds investment community,it is a hugely successful franchise and is one of the largest PnL generating desks in the firm.  Traditionally the desk was involved in issuing CPPI structures where the underlying was a basket of Hedge Funds, Over the years the complexity of the structures being issued have increased due to demand from the fund of fund clients and as a necessity to capture large margins. In addition the desk collaborates strongly with the equity derivatives structured products team to offer the fund of funds alternative hedging mechanisms. Your role will be to work with the existing traders to perform these tasks, research the activities of the Hedge Funds incorporated within the basket, execute trades as well as drive the business forward with new products and innovative methods of hedging the risk. My client is looking for somebody with a minimum of two years experience trading fund derivatives at a top derivatives house.
