This is an opportunity for an individual to join our growing firm and fill the role of a Trade Desk Assistant.  Specifically, some of the day-to-day functions will include:



1. Assist in verifying in-house trade log against broker/dealer records.

 

2. Promptly answer phone calls, take messages, etc.

 

3. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word.

 

4. Assist in the monthly performance calculation and attribution process.

 

5. Originate and maintain account files, keeping filing of documents current.

 

6. Scan and fax documents; sort and distribute mail.

 

7. Scrutinize details to eliminate errors.

 

8. Participation in adjunct functions as needed. 


 

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with an eye for detail, superior organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities, and strong communication skills.  In addition, the ideal candidate should be interested in developing an understanding of fixed income trading and the money management business.

 

Degree in Economics, Finance or Business preferred
