Trading Floor Desktop Support
Title: Trading Floor Desktop Support
Base salary: 75-80k + bonus
Location: New York City
*Must have 3 years experience working with Trading floor desktops/laptops/peripherals support.
*Set up and customize new or replacement computers using imaging software.
*Document processes and procedures as required.
*Advanced knowledge in the setup and installation of Windows 2000/XP
Professional
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and Excel *Ability to troubleshoot and repair desktop and peripheral hardware issues *Understanding the components within a
corporate network environment (i.e. IP sub-netting, TCP/IP DNS, DHCP,
routers, gateways etc**)
*Experience following established procedures and a history of achieving service levels in support trading floor environments
*Outstanding customer service skills, ability to demonstrate tact in
customer communications.
*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
*Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
*Detail oriented with attention to processes and procedures
*Must be flexible and be willing to work overtime
Desired Skills:
*Strong knowledge of Outlook, Office 2003 and Blackberry's and Mobile
computing in general *Video Conferencing experiences a plus
* MUST have Trading Floor support and market data experience.
