Trading Operations Manager

We are seeking a Trading Operations Manager in Malvern, PA who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the day-to-day operations, representing trading in various meetings, maintaining supervisory logs, creating and updating policies and procedures as required, work close with our Legal, Compliance and Product Development departments. 

 

Review and oversee:

 

* Error resolution

 

* Identify, capture and record operational/trade error

 

* Create and deliver managerial reports (data stats) on errors

 

* Assist with preventative measures firm-wide

 

* Trading mutual fund/ETF wrap products for certain PMAS clients

 

* Monitor and improve (where applicable) current trading processes

 

* Monitor and track trading volumes on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly)

 

* Continuously work on and toward industry best trading practices.

 

* SMA liquidations and other ancillary trading

 

* Monitor daily trade liquidation queues

 

* Properly filter ancillary trading request.  

 

Additional responsibilities:

 

* Conduct annual performance appraisal for trading staff members (staff management)

 

* Perform quality control reviews as required (daily, weekly monthly)

 

* Review and evidence daily trade blotters

 

* Review, monitor and maintain supervisory policies and procedures

 

* Develop and implement a service model for tracking errors

 

* Identify error trends and aid with preventative measures  

 

Qualifications:

 

* 5-7 years experience in Financial Services operations and trading

 

* Management experience required

 

* Security APL knowledge a plus

 

* Initiative and ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

 

* Must be detail oriented and capable of completing workload in an accurate and timely manner

 

* Strong problem-solving skills and inherent decision-making abilities.

 

* Excellent interpersonal skills

 

* Strong organizational skills

 

* Flexibility, as overtime may be required depending on workload

 

* BS/BA required, Business related degree preferred

 

* FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses required
