We are seeking a professional with training expertise, sales and service savvy and the ability to develop, facilitate and assist in implementing training programs for new and existing financial service representatives and other team members. This position is located at our main office and reports to the Training Manager.

 

Responsibilities: Develop and deliver curriculum.Develop internal ad hoc trainers and relationships with external training sources.  Implement effective training aids and materials utilizing knowledge of methods in classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, workshops, webinars and on-line training resources.Assess current and proposed training programs and recommend appropriate changes.Maintain and track a tracking system for training content and completed training hours.Assist team members with external training needs.Support enhancements in HR, training and the credit union.Be an advocate of the Michigan First culture. Identify creative ways to offer training and orientate new team members.Able to conduct team building, hew hire training and other training functions as requested.Evaluate and administer web-based training systems.

 

Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years training experience preferably with a sales training background. Experience developing new and keeping existing training programs current.Experience in the application of adult learning principles. AA or BA in a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.Knowledge of training metrics and evaluations.Certificates, training and/or licenses in Training and Development preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Must have excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.Must have good organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and be flexible. Experience in evaluating sales and other training programs to determine effectiveness Experience training in a financial institution strongly preferred.
