To make your mark as Treasury Operations Manager you will: TMCC Treasury raises capital and provides daily liquidity to fund all aspect of the business for TMCC, its subsidiaries and many U.S. and international affiliates. The person in this important treasury management position is responsible for the overall daily settlement, servicing, transaction control, monitoring, reporting, and analysis of over $68 billion of outstanding debt, new issuances of over $100 billion combined term and short term funding annually, an actively managed investment portfolio averaging over $4 billion, any supporting new deal structures. The person is responsible for designing and building a state of the art treasury operation center using a brand new global treasury system to support all the treasury activities and related financial and regulatory reporting. The person will lead the effort to adopt best-practices, maximize straight-thru processing, leverage the treasury systems and work with system SMEs, and ensures Sox controls and transaction security. Most importantly, the person is responsible to lead, manage and develop members of his team. He or she needs to possess the ability and expertise in order influence senior management in other functional areas to adopt changes and reengineer processes to achieve treasury objectives and goals. The individual is will work closely with the all the functional heads of Treasury, Accounting, and the Assistant Global Treasurers. The individual needs have both extensive treasury experience (operations and systems) and in-depth working knowledge of commonly used and complex financial instruments, including all types of debit issuance in different currencies with varying optionalities, structured products, inter-company funding arrangements with multi-level netting, investments, derivatives, foreign exchange, collateral management, etc. Skills and leadership are important in order to influence peers and senior management and to lead the transformation of treasury operations to increase capacity (significant growth in transaction volume) and capability (complex structures and new financial instruments). Treasury operations is a critical area performing the due diligence and controlling the transaction review and approval process. The group is the ultimate gate keeper before all the actual movement of cash, billions of dollars daily, can be made to fulfill our obligations to many investors, counterparties and financial intermediaries. Qualifications TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates must have: -Professional experience: 10+ years -Treasury related experience: 8+ years -Experience to include: global treasury operations, liquidity management, treasury systems and infrastructure, foreign exchange, broad credit and investment/debt knowledge -Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in finance related area Education: -Bachelor’s degree — finance, accounting or economics related -MBA in Finance -CTP a plus -CFA a plus Technical Skills: -Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, SWIFT, Wallstreet Treasury software, Bloomberg Toyota Financial Services rewards both individual and organizational results with well-balanced compensation, benefits and perquisite programs.
