Treasury Sales Rep III

This position will be required to Market and sell Treasury products, including money market and fixed income investments, foreign exchange contracts and interest rate derivatives to commercial, government, and high net worth customer base. Prospect for new business through customer calls and presentations. Adhere to Treasury Sales management and portfolio objectives and keep current with customer profiles, financial markets and general banking services.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Create and deliver presentations on money market and fixed income products to customers and other bank personnel.

 2. Market and sell interest rate swaps, caps, floors, collars, and swaptions to corporate and middle market clients. Provide advice tailored to client’s specific needs as to structured derivatives.

 3. Maintain and expand existing corporate foreign exchange business; remain knowledgeable of international markets and conditions.

 4. Provide market information and cost of funds quotes to Business Banking relationship managers.

5. Provide customers with consistent, high quality service by providing errorless trade execution and keeping abreast of current market and economic trends.

6. Possess full knowledge of daily operational processing to ensure timeliness and accuracy of response and rapid trade problem resolution.

 7. Assist in the management of the public deposit function by developing customer relationships with municipal customer base and by providing bids on public funds.

8.Assist in the management of the “Debtor in Possession” bankruptcy accounts.

9.Maintain effective communications and ongoing relationships with Business Banking, Government Finance, Cash Management, and branch network in order to promote Treasury Sales products internally.

10.Create and maintain all management information reports. Requirements: A minimum of 5 years experience in a banking or financial sales environment is required, over 7 years is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of financial instruments and capital markets, and facility in a PC/LAN Windows environment required. A college degree required with advance degree in finance or economics preferred; Series 52 securities licensing is required, Series 7 preferred.
