Job Purpose:

A portfolio manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the investment process, from planning to execution and monitoring of trust department accounts.  The investment process needs to follow a cohesive plan which takes into account not only modern portfolio theory, but also the legal and tax constraints of each account. 

 

¨ Understand and process all aspects and developments in the capital markets.

¨ Be able to analyze in depth all three financial statements and dozens of ratios.

¨ Be very familiar with GAAP.

¨ Be consistent and disciplined when building and maintaining portfolios.
