Trusty Mascot

Tryouts are being held this Friday, May 2 2008!!WHEN: Friday, May 2, 2008 12:00 noon 2:00 p.m. Open Casting Call 3:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Mascot tryout finalsWHERE: Philadelphia Marriott Hotel, 12thFirstrust Bank and our Marketing Department is looking for someone to represent us. A unique role that requires a responsible, creative, energetic, charismatic and enthusiastic person to perform as Trusty, the Firstrust Bank mascot. This is a part-time, flexible hours role, with a physically demanding schedule.Perform at Firstrust sponsored events, community events, at schools, and at children?s events as requested.Requirements: The ideal candidate is 5?5? 5? 11? performer, able to operate in full costume and maintain a high level of energy.Must have excellent non-verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate emotions.Must be comfortable entertaining and working with people of all ages, especially children.Prior mascot, theatre, dance, gymnastics or acting experience welcome but not required.Must have the ability to perform detailed written or oral instructions.The ability to function in a high-stress environment, using common sense and making quick decisions, is essential.Flexibility required in working hours including nights, weekends, holidays and school days (minimum 10 hours maximum 30 hours) Must have own transportationPhysical Demands:Not meant to eliminate any candidate, the person chosen to portray Trusty must be able to stand, walk, dance, run, hear, and tolerate potential discomfort while in full costume.Must be able to reach with hands and arms; and possess good close and distance vision.
