Loan authority of $500m or higher. Generally 3-10 years of  lending experience. Provides supervisory support  to credit analysts and documentation unit. Essential Functions:This is a position within Business Banking Credit Risk Management.  This position reports to the Regional Business Service Center (BSC) Credit Team Leader.  The employee's main function is, through the use of applicable lending authority, to analyze and decision Business Banking credit requests.  Specifically: -Underwrite loan transactions and relationship risk within assigned lending authority -Decision loan requests or recommend decisions for loan requests above lending authority -Coordinate requests for additional information through relationship managers -Communicate with Portfolio Admin, Real Estate or SBA units on applicable transactions -Input application information into underwriting system as necessary -Assist relationship manager in sales opportunity identification and creation of solutions for Key's clients Marginal Functions:-Spread financial statements as necessary -Special projects as assigned -Serve as a resource for relationship managers and loan support specialists Required Skills:-Bachelor's degree in business, finance or mathematical sciences, or equivalent work experience -Ability to project and translate risk factors into actionable steps to control portfolio asset quality -Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team -Accomplished self-starter and well-organized in thought and action -Excellent business writing and communications/presentation skills -Satisfactory knowledge and proficiency in working with personal computers and business software (e.g. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) -3 or more years of commercial/small business lending experience -Familiarity with, and understanding of, traditional and automated commercial credit underwriting/approval methodologies and their use Training Provided:-Access to Key's full range of training opportunities will be provided along with direct coaching and development with the Team Leader Life at Key is exciting, challenging, and rewarding.
