The University Relations (UR) team at Union Bank of California develops and maintains relationships with campus career service offices, campus organizations, and key campus contacts. The UR team is responsible for coordinating recruiting events, creating a positive brand image

on college campuses.

 

As part of the UR team, the primary responsibilities for the UR Recruiter include:

- Manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for entry level talent throughout California.

- Intern recruitment and program management for interns in Northern California.

- Partner with hiring managers to provide and execute recruitment strategies that result in high quality candidates.

- Ensure that the hiring process complies with Union Bank policies and procedures as well as employment laws and regulations.

- Meet performance metrics to maximize recruiting dollars, time to hire, and University Relations objectives.

- Stay current on industry news, trends, best practices and current external recruiting/sourcing practices.

- Develop creative sourcing strategies to continually build a diverse candidate pipeline.

- Create a positive candidate experience.The successful candidate should have at least 3-5 years of University Recruitment experience within a large corporation.  This position requires energy, enthusiasm, and an aptitude to present new ideas/approaches and/or the willingness to execute new ideas as they are presented.  Additional requirements include:- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.- 3-5 years campus recruiting experience.- Experience in building strong internal and external relationships.- Ability to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies for a particular functional area or business unit. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Equally effective as a team player or on self-managed projects- Strong knowledge of recruitment/placement laws and practices. - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, applicant tracking systems, and the Internet. - Willingness and ability to travel for various campus activities (both day and evening events).- Maintain a professional presence while having fun! Union Bank of California offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including a 401K plan.
