VP Commercial Loan Credit Officer

Reports to the Senior Credit Officer.  Primarily responsible for risk rating a regional commercial loan portfolio with direct involvement in the loan approval process. Responsible for the accurate and timely risk rating of the region loan portfolio. Recommend approval or denial of large commercial loans. Organize, facilitate and document the outcome of each quarterly Credit Quality Review process for the individual region of responsibility. Act to approve commercial loans jointly with the senior lending staff. Monitor and assist in management of portfolio dynamics. Recruit, hire, train and manage credit analysts. Assist the lending staff with loan structure that will meet client needs and is within the risk tolerance of the bank. Participate with other members of the bank management team in joint calling efforts to assist in loan development and growth. Perform other duties as assigned.
