VP, Compliance  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Responsible for compliance programs for LandSafe Appraisal Services Inc. and reporting the overall status of corporate compliance to senior management. ·  Will work closely with the LandSafe's Compliance Officer to develop corporate compliance policies and foster among LandSafe's employees and management a continuing awareness of Countrywide’s commitment to responsible and ethical conduct.·  Monitor regulatory compliance with state and federal laws and regulations affecting all LandSafe Inc. companies including, but not limited to, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Privacy Act and state privacy laws.·  Disseminate compliance instructions to appropriate LandSafe Inc. companies and take necessary action to assure continued compliance with all laws and regulations. ·  Will ensure that these units maintain adequate compliance structure, develop and implement a compliance monitoring and reporting function, and oversee the development and implementation of compliance action plans. ·  Create written compliance procedures and policies as required. ·  May also involve designing and conducting compliance training programs for staff.   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  College degree (bachelor's) with a major in political science, pre-law, business, communications, economics, finance, information technology, or related subject, required. ·  Broad and varied knowledge of mortgage banking, title and credit industry operation. ·  Familiarity with federal and state laws and regulations which affect mortgage lending, title and the credit industry.  Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
