VP-HR Generalist
Description:An exciting opportunity to contribute to business growth by partnering with business leaders for the Asset Management, Insurance & Annuities, Product Distribution and Strategic Planning and Business Development. This VP role will be the primary point of contact to the assigned businesses and provide integrated delivery of HR product and services.The incumbent will recommend, design, deliver and implement appropriate organizational design solutions to address organization issues, develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are clearly aligned with business needs and will consult with business leaders on people related issues and talent needs. The successful individual will be responsible for effectively leveraging enterprise-wide programs and tools to solve business issues. This includes partnering with other COEs and subject matter experts to ensure fully aligned activities that support business strategy including; Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Relations, Diversity, HR Service Delivery Compliance and Legal . This will help drive end to end HR solutions by consistently communicating business vision, purpose and goals in order to ensure most robust solution is developed. There will be a particular emphasis in compensation, incentive design and talent management. The client group spans across seven business units and approximately 1000 employees currently including Equity and Fixed Income investment professionals, Institutional Sales and Services, Risk Management Investment Operations, Trust Operations unit, Asset Management Products and Marketing.Qualifications:- Four year Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, business-related or equivalent work experience is required; Master's degree is a plus.- 10 years of relevant HR experience- Demonstrated team leadership through building a peak performing organization- Strong knowledge of US and financial services industry, competitors and HR regulatory requirements and have strong financial acumen - Creative thinking skills to develop win/win solutions for business issues that are recognized and valued by leaders, often managing through conflict- Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach- Demonstrated experience benchmarking and implementing best in class strategies, processes and programs- Understands the business vision, strategy, priorities, financial and performance measures and cycle- Operates with a highly disciplined approach in influencing outcomes- Ability to anticipate obstacles and create relevant solutions based on needed outcomes- Proven track record of driving change through innovative problem-solving and effective resource planning- Outstanding communication and presentation skills - Proven ability to partner with business leaders to successfully drive HRs role in large scale change initiatives and gain their commitment and support - Drives for results by being goal focused, establishing clear priorities, managing time effectively and measuring results- Strong client orientation. - Cutting edge understanding of all HR disciplines and competitive practices; must have knowledge in, and be proactive, to ensure compliant processes in all areas in accordance to HR laws and regulations- M&A experience including leveraging appropriate resources from benefits, compensation and legal to ensure proper due diligence conducted - Post deal integration experience including oversight of complicated employee relations issues, organizational structure/alignment and related integration issuesSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe offer competitive benefits to eligible employees (including medical, dental, and vision plans).
