Vice President - Branch Manager

NYC Based $4.7 billion commercial bank seeks a highly qualified & energetic indivdual to serve as the Branch Manager for a new De Novo Branch in the Bronx Community. 

Responsibilities include developing new business relationships for the Bank by conducting business calls to potential customers.  Develop and manage sales process within the Branch office.  Cultivate and retain a staff that is customer focused and accountable for individual performance.  Achieve established Branch sales goals for business and transaction accounts and loans.  Participate in Branch networking, community and CRA activities.  Directly responsible for overall management of the Branch Operations.  Assume responsibility for solving customer problems; ensure that all commitments to customers are met in a timely manner and that each response is complete and accurate.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5+ years working in the capacity of Branch Manager with a focus on business development.  Excellent verbal/communication, interpersonal and management skills are required.  Past experience as a Relationship Manager a plus.  BA degree required.
