Vice President Commercial Lending Officer

Banner Bank is continuing to rapidly grow in the Portland marketplace.  We currently have an opening for an experienced Commercial Lender in our downtown Portland Commercial Lending Center.  This individual will be responsible for establishing relationships with the owners of complex and larger business with the goal of growing and managing a loan portfolio of $15-20MM or more.  Heavy focus on business development to achieve loan, deposit and profitability goals.  Responsible for originating, and underwriting loans including commercial, construction, owner-occupied real estate, and investor real estate. 

 

Requirements include:

 Five years or more banking experience with solid credit skills.  Thorough knowledge of commercial credit, including lending policies, procedures, accounting, financial statement analysis and cash flow.Senior level underwriting skills with portfolio management experience.Demonstrated expertise and success in prospect and business development and product knowledge.Strong track record of performance in the Portland marketplace.Team work approach to business and a great attitude.Bachelor’s degree required
