Duties:

· Seek new business through various methods such as cold calling, mailing, networking, public speaking and customer referrals

· Market to potential investors the concept of building wealth through the equities market while educating them on the organization, participants, and functions of the various securities markets and the principal factors that affect them

· Evaluate customers in terms of financial needs, current holding, and available investment capital, and help them identify their investment objectives

· Open, transfer, and close customer accounts and maintain appropriate records

· Monitor the customer’s portfolio and make recommendations consistent with changes in economic and financial conditions as well as the customer’s needs and objectives

· Stay up to date on market trends, regulations, investment products and services

· Create and implement a business plan which incorporates activities and strategies to achieve performance goals

 

Required Experience:

· Demonstrated ability to sell

· Excellent problem solving, networking, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

· Interest in investment and financial markets

· Demonstrated excellent work ethic

 

Preferred Experience:

· Prior sales experience

· Prior Business Owner/Entrepreneur

· Prior professional service career (Legal, Accounting, Education, Real Estate, Insurance, Military)
