Web Application Developer

 

Position Profile: 

Create and support web-based application, primarily using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server, for the Bank’s Internet/Intranet web sites.  Additional duties may include maintenance on SQL and web servers, servicing Service Requests, technical supports to users, participate in special IT projects, and other tasks as directed.

 

Key duties include the following:

 

· Maintenance existing programs and applications

· Create, test and document new programs written in C#, TSQL, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScripts, and VB Scripts.

· Perform QA activities on programs written by other developers.

· Release approved program to Production Environment

· Troubleshoot and resolve various system problems, failures, degradation

· Perform technical support to internal/external users

· Prepare and maintain documentation

· May develop technical standards and interface applications

· May assist in network planning, engineering and architecture

 

Qualifications:

 

· PC skills: MS Office 2003: Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Frontpage

· Programming: MS Visual Studio 2003/2005, C#, MS SQL 2000/2005 TSQL, RPG 4, HTML, XML, XSLT, Javascripts, VBScript

· 2-3 years of web-base application development experience

· Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

· MCDBA and/or MCAD certification preferred
