Web Developer

The Information Systems Department at Lake Michigan Credit Union is looking for a Web Developer.  An ability to work through problems, ranging from highly complex to very simple, in a variety of conditions is essential.  Must be able to provide logical systems and programming solutions.  Must analyze complicated factual situations, apply functional principles, and develop solutions.  Work must be completed accurately and within project constraints with discretion and confidentiality.  Projects may require a willingness to work extra hours.  The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills and will be expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism with co-workers and vendors.  This position will require occasional physical activity.

 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:  maintenance and implementation of the Credit Union's Intranet and Internet websites.  Write, modify, test, develop and implement custom software programs to streamline work flows.  Must support the full software development life cycle of custom application(s) ranging from daily script(s) to web site development.  Documentation and training of products and procedures. 

 

A candidate for this position must have one of the following: Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and two years of similar experience or four years of relevant work experience.  This position also requires proficiency in many of the following; Web Applications and Development tools, HTML, ASP.net with C#, SQL/T-SQL, XML concepts, PHP, Javascript, Windows Operating Systems, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Administration, MySQL, and Internet Connectivity.  Must have a good technical knowledge of database architecture and normalization, numerical analysis, programming techniques including OOP concepts, and equipment utilization.
