* Develops eCommerce security architectures across infrastructure, application, and data areas.
* Reviews and advises on the construction of high level architectural descriptions of eCommerce systems.
* Consistently applies business knowledge in the design of highly complex information security solutions for eCommerce.
* Applies understanding of current eCommerce threat landscape/trends to provide advice and development of secure business solutions.
* Leads the security architecture work for eCommerce as the owner, leveraging architect team, BIO team to complete target architectures, using target architecture methodology and aligning with the enterprise architecture.
* Negotiate with senior systems architects and BIO organizations to introduce architecture alignment projects in eCommerce.
* Collaborate with the enterprise security architect on architectural approaches, domain definitions, standards and priorities at Capital One.
* Collaborate with the enterprise security architect to integrate eCommerce's security domain target architecture and the delivery of enterprise level services.
* Maintains the eCommerce target architecture status and updates it as projects implement the recommended solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree.

Preferred:
Certification: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or another qualification such as CISM, GSEC, GIAC recommended 
Minimum of 6 years in information risk management and/or security architecture. Experience in architecting, designing and delivering tangible solutions.
Operational knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, access controls, encryption, identity management, threat and vulnerability management techniques.
eCommerce background in finance or insurance industry
Network background - local area, routing and wide area communications, encryption.
Systems integration
Application development
