A world class financial risk management company located in the East (US & Canada) needs, IMMEDIATELY, integrated Governance Risk & Compliance (iGRC) Consultant. Numerous assignments in various North American cities are open (New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, etc.). This iGRC Managers education and background will include the following: BS degree Ten years for Managing Directors, Directors and five (5) years for Managers and Senior Associates knowledge of the strategic implications of the Basel Accord and OpRisk including Economic Capital, understanding and appreciation of Regulatory, accounting and financial industry Risk Management and Corporate Governance best practices affecting business and potential implications of current risk management issues and trends Previous Tier 1 Consulting experience highly valued Specific experience should include most of the following:   Knowledge of the strategic implications of the Basel Accord and OpRisk including Economic Capital, understanding and appreciation of Regulatory, accounting and financial industry Risk Management and Corporate Governance best practices affecting business and potential implications of current risk management issues and trends ·  Broad skills in at least three of the key domain areas relevant to OpRisk success and leadership: Data & Risk Data Architecture Business Process Management and Workflow Management Risk Management (OpRisk, Compliance, Governance, related) Security, Privacy & Information Security Risk Management COSO, COBIT, SOX 404 (Deficiency Management, Event Modeling, Remediation, Controls & Performance Management) ·  Expertise with all of the major elements, issues and trends associated with OpRisk: a)  Loss Datab)  KRI’sc)  OpRisk Frameworksd)  OpRisk Hierarchiese)  OpRisk Technologyf)  OpRisk Policyg)  BII AMA approach to OpRiskh)  Economic Capitali)  Convergence ·  Knowledge of OpRisk Management applications and solutions, specifically, i-Flex, SAS, Algo/Fitch, Centerprise, BPS, others Seasoned Operational Risk experience or similar industry experience in financial risk management Experiences with the following products/services are strong pluses: Provide creative, analytical and strategic approaches to problem solving SEC reporting issues Ability to initiate and maintain effective relationships with existing and prospective clients Provide leadership and successfully motivates works groups into effective and successful teams that achieve business results Ability to strive in a dynamic and challenging work environment Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to develop the practice, both within the firm and prospective clients Ability to consistently manage client expectations, ensuring delivery of highest quality service Ability to interact with others in a professional, team-oriented, client service environmentThe hire of this individual is being considered a TOP PRIORITY!
