We currently have an opening for a Purchasing Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to function in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Process all purchase orders for centers and corporate while maintaining corporate guidelines.Assist in developing PO system including job aidsCoordinate/Execute purchasing activities related to new location startupMaintain corp inventory of center supplies and general office suppliesWork with accounting and center staff to trouble shoot order/invoice issuesAnswer routine questions and provide information to employees and managers as needed.Order departmental supplies as needed/approved.Produce correspondence and other written materials accurately and according to established procedures.Update and maintain informational spreadsheets.Work with vendors on a daily basis to negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries

Special Qualifications:Must be an advanced user of microsoft office suite

Demonstrated discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects using prioritization skills to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Ability to accomplish assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision.Ability to articulate clearly both orally and in writing.Ability to hear clearly on the telephone.Ability to work on a computer for up to four hours at a time.
