Account Director, Business Development

Omnicare Clinical Research is currently seeking an Account Director for our Business Development department.  This position is regionally based on the West Coast and the Account Director will work from a home office.  Responsibilities for this opportunity include:Achieve sales forecast and related performance metrics.Maintain existing Sponsor/Client relationships and develop sales leads.Spend 65% of time engaged in client-facing selling activities.Build relationships with key decision-makers at targeted companies.Collaborate with the Global Proposal Development team in creating proposals.Design, implement, and execute strategic account plans.Support and negotiate contracts and Master Service Agreements.Host Sponsor visits and audits.

Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in business or related field3 to 5 years of account management and business development experienceExperience in clinical research business developmentTravel required
