Summary of Position Purpose:
Execute sales and marketing strategies as a member of the Client Management team that targets key decision makers towards the adoption of Verispan products and services. Proactively develop relationships with new and existing accounts and increase awareness to drive sales of Verispan’s product line.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sales Growth within assigned client base (80% of time in sales activities);
· Thorough understanding of assigned Verispan products and services. Maintain expertise through ongoing training opportunities and self study;
· Drive the acquisition of new and expanded business for utilization of Verispan data/ services by assigned target audience within client to achieve sales targets;
· Support Group Directors in uncovering opportunities. Develop and propose new services or integrated solutions to clients and prospects;
· Translate client business issues and identify Verispan products and services that will deliver maximum insight and value to clients;
· Follow approved processes for drafting, submitting and finalizing contracts and proposals/SOWs (Statements of Work).
Build Strong Client Relationships
· Uncover, build and nurture relationships with data users and key decision makers within assigned organizations;
· Regular client contact with onsite activity a minimum of 2 to 3 days per week (Avg. 3 days per week).
Internal
· Collaborate with internal departments, such as client solutions, product management and HCR in the development and implementation of strategies, plans and business models;
· Maintain timely and accurate reporting for all administrative responsibilities.
Education/Skill Level/Experience:
· 8+ years of professional experience, 3 years pharmaceutical sales or marketing experience;
· BS/BA or equivalent experience required, MBA/MPH or equivalent preferred;
· Experience with MS Office, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

· Ability to uncover, translate and respond to client business challenges and needs;
· Knowledge of healthcare market place;
· Ability to comprehend, communicate, handle review of data and applications;
· Possess superior presentation skills;
· Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
· Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment;
· Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across functional teams, strong collaborative skills.
