We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive for Clinical Development Services. In this role, you will manage our East territory. The ideal candidate will work from a home office based in Delaware or New Jersey. As a Sales Account Executive with Covance Clinical Development Services, you will present and promote all of Covance's clinical services to potential clients including new accounts, new business opportunities at existing account and new marketing opportunities with the objective of establishing long term, mutually beneficial business partnerships. Your specific responsibilities will include: Establishment of client base and achievement of individual territory sales through proactive sales activity, networking and marketing Covance services to assigned potential and existing accounts. Development and implementation of individual, territory and account strategies that incorporate significant account and industry profiling with pipeline and therapeutic content, business development, retention strategies, Covance integration strategies and current and developing action plans. Acting as aprimary contact for client services, i.e. inquiries and issues on studies. Facilitating comprehensive presentations of Covance services to all clients in pursuit of all new business opportunities Identification of specific client needs that can potentially be developed into new opportunities for Covance Providing continuous market analysis on all key competitors; their services, acquisitions and pricing Interacting and coordinating with all other Covance offices in order to obtain necessary information for proposal preparation Interacting with internal teams (local and global) in the preparation of costing for project Requirements: BS/BA; MBA preferred. 3-5 years of Account Management experience including experience in and knowledge of clinical drug development. Track record of success in metrics (sales of Phase II-IIIA clinical trials) and quality of account relationships. At Covance, we help make the miracles of medicine a reality.
