Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable Accountant

Celleration, Inc. is a Minnesota based medical device company located in Eden Prairie, MN.  Celleration, Inc. has produced an impressive and growing body of clinical research with an exciting new wound healing device, the MIST Ultrasound Therapy System.  MIST Therapy is a painless, non-contact ultrasound device used to promote wound healing through cellular stimulation while removing bacteria, allowing clinicians to heal wounds faster.

Accounts Payable:

·  Match P.O.’s and receiving to invoices ensuring accuracy

·  Obtain manager approval when appropriate for applicable invoices

·  Input invoices into accounting system coding as appropriate

·  Generate computer check run

·  Issue and enter manual checks

·  Prepare 1099’s

 

Accounts Receivable:

·  Apply A/R cash deposits into accounting system

·  Perform collections functions, research discrepancies, reconcile accounts as necessary

·  Obtain credit verification

·  Provide open A/R reports to sales force

·  Interface with customer service and site accounting on billing and collection issues.

 

Expense Reports

·  New user setup

·  Verification of receipts

·  Processing of pending expense reports

·  Submit $’s to be reimbursed to payroll

·   Correspond with users concerning questions, deadlines, etc.

 

Other TasksParticipate in any and all reasonable work activities as deemed appropriate and assigned by management. Successful completion of all designated training programs for this position. Conform to, support and enforce all Celleration policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications:

Education:  HS graduate; prefer college graduate

Experience: Must Have:

·  3-5 years accounting experience

Certification: None

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  Must Have:

·  Computer skills including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

·  Financial accounting software, particularly Quickbooks and Great Plains

·  Excellent phone skills

·  Excellent written and oral communication skills

·  Attention to detail

·  Organized

·  Ability to maintain confidentiality

Also Highly Desirable:

·  Sales tax laws

·  Payroll tax laws

 

Physical Requirements:

·  Ability to stand and sit

·  Ability to lift 20 pounds
