Administrator, Contract Sales
Job Summary Position is responsible for administering, updating, and assisting with negotiations of pricing contracts between the organization and hospitals and/or hospital systems. In addition, position acts as a liaison between internal sales management and the field sales organization. Coordinates reporting and analysis with regards to sales/contract/pricing activities. Strong analytical, oral and written communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential. General Functions § Administer contracts, discounts, and agreements for local hospital and national buying groups.§ Coordinate and assist in the implementation of a corporate pricing strategy.§ Review contracts to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.§ Draft proposals and contracts, working closely with Legal Department, Marketing, and Sales as needed.§ Administer, prepare, and implement price increases and annual price catalog.§ Conduct training for field based sales organization on sales force policies, procedures, and systems.§ Prepare historical sales, discount, market share and buying group affiliation reports.§ Assist on special projects as needed Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs) § High level of energy, personal accountability and integrity.§ Self starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints.§ Understands the overall business environment, the spine industry, and the marketplace. Education Requirements B.A. or B.S., preferably in business, economics, or communications Skill Requirements Minimum of three years administrative experience, preferably with a medical device company (will consider recent college graduates) with demonstrated organizational, decision making and communication skills. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interface with a diversified internal and external customer base, both verbal and written. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including data gathering software. Travel Requirements 5%Education: BachelorsJob Level: 0 yearsPercent Travel: 1-10%
