Analytical Method Chemist Needed at Global Pharma!The Analytical Development Group at Pearl River, NY pharmaceutical company is in need of a multiple chemists with strong analytical skills to work on marketed product issues. This is a 6 month temporary assignment. Duties include:* Developing, validating and transferring analytical methods relating to the support of marketed products. These methods may involve assay, impurity, dissolution, cleaning and other applications* Compiling and evaluating validation data and creating comprehensive reports for internal or external publication/presentation* Performing analyses to support marketed products* Incumbent may also be responsible for maintenance of analytical samples, supply of high volume HPLC solvents, daily calibration checks of analytical balances, reagent labeling and safety training and inspectionExperience: To qualify for this position, you must possess a B.S. in Chemistry and 4 or more years of industry experience or an M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry and 2 or more years of experience. You must have a thorough knowledge of analytical chemistry and be knowledgeable about pharmaceutical regulations in compliance with FDA and cGMP. You must be a team player and possess computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Apply on-line today.
