Ancillary Materials Project Manager

Primary Activities include, but are not limited to:
Conducts needs analysis with Clinical team who provides the performance specifications and the protocol planning details to develop a cost effective ancillary supplies plan for assigned clinical trials.
Directly interfaces with Ancillary Planners to ensure a robust supply strategy.
Works with Procurement for new supply needs and reviews of the suppliers.
Problem solving for site issues related to the data entered by clinical site personnel.
Be professional but persuasive when dealing with the Clinical scientists to try and encourage standard items.
When dealing with suppliers, make sure price accounts for quantity and quality.   

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the science fields and 2-4 years experience in project management, procurement, supply strategy or clinical operations, or BS in other field with 3-5 years work experience in medical areas and project management, procurement, or clinical operations.
Experience in clinical development/operations is highly recommended.                                       Excellent communication skills to interface with the scientists and the vendors.
Focus of this role is to assist the Clinical stakeholders in identifying protocol ancillary material needs. 
Utilizes two IT databases to plan initial ancillary supplies and then re-supplies. 
Serves as primary interface to clinical trial site management to resolve site issues regarding supplies/deliveries.
Direct clinical experience (e.g. medical field) highly recommended.
Excellent computer skills, and Microsoft applications a must.
Must be able to multitask.
