Anesthesia and Critical Care Specialist (ACCS)In this role you will create primary demand for Precedex®, a proprietary pharmaceutical used for intravenous sedation by direct detailing to multiple hospital-based clinicians including anesthesiologists, general surgeons, cardio thoracic surgeons, intensivists, pulmonologists, critical care nurses, and pharmacists. You will establish business relationships, influence decision makers, monitor and assess the competitive environment, achieve territory sales/business goals, and manage territory expenses. 10%-30% of travel will be required. Your territory will be D.C., St. Charles, Waldorf, College Park, Bethesda, and Silver Springs, MD.To be successful in this position, you must possess: BS/BA degree, preferably in business/marketing, pharmacy, nursing, science, and/or other technical disciplines Minimum of 3-5 years successful proprietary pharma sales experience in a hospital environment strongly is preferred High-energy, persuasiveness and tenacity with the ability to learn and convey scientific and clinical information to client base Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communications skills are required Sales or clinical experience in anesthesia or critical care environment is requiredOur people make Hospira an organization of stature, and we’re proud of our accomplishments.
