Application Analyst

Our client discovers, develops, manufactures, and markets leading prescription medicines for humans and animals and many of the world's best-known consumer brands.  They have a requirement for an application analyst. Position Summary and Special Duties: Initiates and manages software development projects Leads project stakeholders through the processes of systems development and design methodologies required to engineer effective software solutions Ensures quality of externally developed applications Designs, develops, and specifies software using software development methodologies such as process modeling, data flow analysis, and relational database design. Effectively creates new software applications and/or modifies existing applications as required to meet business and manufacturing process automation objectives.  Develops training materials and/or conducts training in the proper use of software with Service Desk and end users.  Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required Excellent interpersonal skills Competency in Software Engineering IT Project Management skills Must be competent with multiple programming languages, software applications and associated software construction techniques Must be able to develop software using SDLC deliverables Must have programming skills and be familiar with VB Script, Microsoft.NET Framework, and SQL.
