Application Specialist

IntelliDOT is a leading provider of wireless, handheld, barcode point-of-care (BPOC) solutions that connect to any healthcare information system to improve patient safety and nurse workflow.  When using the IntelliDOT system, nurses can easily manage all tasks associated with five-rights medication administration safety checks and related documentation.  Additional modules include specimen collection, blood product administration, mother-baby breast milk matching and vital sign collection. The Application Specialist position will be directly involved with the system set up and bar-coding activities required in the early stages of a system implementation; training, go-live and post go-live support; and continued system functionality and utilization monitoring.

 

RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with IntelliDOT implementation tasks as assigned by the Project ManagerAssist in executing the implementation project plan to target and milestone datesCommunicate project status to Project Manager and VP of Operations as appropriateDemonstrate wise use of IntelliDOT Corporation resourcesContribute to improving project methodology and development of implementation tools

 

This position will be field based and will report to the Project Implementation Manager.  Primary relationships will be with multi-disciplinary teams from IntelliDOT and client organizations.

 

Requirements

EDUCATIONBA/BS degree

 

EXPERIENCECustomer service and/or hospitality industry experience a PLUS2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment (Pharmacy or Nursing) with technical systems involvement preferred3+ years with other computerized system applications preferredDemonstrated project management skills, with strong analytical and IT analytical skills preferredHealthcare systems implementation experience or background working in the healthcare industry strongly preferredWorking knowledge of software/hardware applications and accessoriesProven problem solving ability including ability to follow through and strive for closureExperience with training or tutoring others and ability to speak/present to small groupsSuccessful experience in interacting with client staff and co-workersFocus on customer care orientation; dedicated to excellenceAbove average proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS ProjectOutstanding time management skills, organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills in all areas including written, oral and presentationAbility to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environmentSelf-starter, works well with minimal oversightPracticed/willing traveler

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Location:   Home Office – anywhere in US (major airport accessible)

Travel:   Significant travel required, 90%

Hours:   Full-time
